I'm converting my driver's license from Florida to Germany, so all I need to do is take the theoretical exam. I just received confirmation from the driver's license office that I need to now take the theoretical exam, so now I know I can start seriously studying for the exam. I'm wondering from others who have taken it (especially those who did in English), what they used to study and prepare? Any good resources? My German isn't that great just yet, but I saw I can take the exam in English. For instance, one resource I found is, but the website seems to be from the 1990s, so I'm not so sure about it. And for those hoping to get more info on how to convert licenses, I found this website to be very helpful:.

I'm from CA, so had to take both theory and practical lessons/exams. Theory classes + 100€ book were a waste of time and money., though, I got access to an online practice test which was exactly the same as the real theory exam. You might try writing/calling schools to see you you can simply pay for the online access portion.
Some of the English translations were a bit wonky, and I found, at first, the exam to be quite difficult. I kept wanting to argue with the answers, which was rather pointless. Once I committed myself to simple rote memorization of questions and answers, it was just a matter of daily practice. The exam itself was, IMHO, ridiculously short and easy.
